Developed for Banking Operations a system (S.T.A.R.™) which organized
7 million CPCS item data collected by 3890 sorters, including
adjustments, Lundy rejects, kill bundle and cash letter information
in an IMS on-line system. Designed and implemented all storage and
access methods for a WORM optical system where data is stored for up
to 7 years.

Contributed in design and implementation of real-time systems to
access major credit bureaus. Enhancements featured automated credit
scoring techniques which allowed 50% of new credit card applications
to be processed without human intervention.

Managed several programmers including lead analysts and a technology
officer. Group was responsible for supporting: the central tracing
and research area, the return items area, the cash processing area,
and the S.T.A.R. system.
